JOB DESCRIPTION
Head Aquatics Supervisor
Time requirements: A head aquatics supervisor is responsible for working 3 scheduled hours per week which are consistent for the entire semester. In addition, there are group training sessions, in-services sessions, and individual employee training sessions for which you are paid per hour as needed. Supervisors are required to attend a staff meeting every other week. This position has a monthly stipend and is not an hourly wage. You will be able to select one entry-level shift. Responsibilities: Assist with all training and supervision of entry level employees by mentoring and following up with them in regard to fulfillment of their responsibilities and providing good customer service. Ensure that weekly quiz questions are prepared and sent, complete payroll, help with the preparation of in-service sessions and be present to run those sessions, make sure that the employee records are accurately kept, schedule and run red cap drills, coordinate bi-weekly meetings and prepare an agenda for those meetings. All head supervisors are required to develop and pursue a goal.
Associate Aquatics Supervisor
Time requirements: An associate aquatics supervisor is responsible for working 2 scheduled hours per week which are consistent for the entire semester. In addition, there are group training sessions, in-services sessions, and individual employee training sessions for which you are paid per hour as needed. Supervisors are required to attend a staff meeting every other week. Responsibilities: Assist with all training and supervision of entry level employees by mentoring and following up with them in regard to fulfillment of their responsibilities and providing good customer service. Help with the preparation, of weekly quiz questions and the lifeguard newsletter. Maintain the facility records by entering usage data and posting schedules. Facilitating special events, running red cap drills and maintaining safety equipment inventory.
Assistant Aquatics Supervisor
Time requirements: An assistant aquatics supervisor is responsible for working as needed up to 1 hour per week throughout the semester. In addition, there may be organizational meetings, in-services sessions, and individual employee training sessions for which you are paid per hour as needed. Supervisors are required to attend a staff meeting every other week.
Responsibilities: Assist with all training and supervision of entry level employees by mentoring and following up with them in regard to fulfillment of their responsibilities and providing good customer service. Help with finding and providing life guard coverage. Contribute to the newsletters. Assist with facilitating special events, running red cap drills and maintaining safety equipment inventory.
