General Classroom Observation of Teaching
Student partner will provide general feedback on a class session. Faculty members are encouraged to also provide the student partner with any additional areas of focus.
Classroom Observation of Inclusive Teaching
Student partner will use a newly developed protocol specific to inclusive teaching. Faculty members are also encouraged to also provide the student partner with any additional areas of focus.
Classroom Observation Using the COPUS
Student partner will perform a classroom observation using the COPUS protocol. We typically recommend that 2 classroom observations be performed using this protocol so that there is comparative information.
Feedback on Assignment Design
Student partner will apply the Transparency in Learning & Teaching Framework and provide their general student perspective on the assignment to support the design process.
Midterm Feedback Survey or Small Group Instructional Feedback Session
Student partner will administer an anonymous midcourse feedback survey or run a small group feedback session with the class and debrief on the results.

They will schedule a virtual debriefing meeting with you prior to the activity as well as after.
